**Job Purpose**
We are seeking a QC Engineer with solid experience in software testing within the FMCG or Retail domain, combining strong manual testing skills with hands\-on experience in test automation. You will take ownership of test analysis, planning, execution, and quality validation
**across Web and Mobile App platforms, as well as backend systems**
. This role contributes to operational excellence and digital transformation initiatives across the Group, with a primary focus on enterprise applications including Distribution Management System (DMS), Warehouse Management System (WMS), Staff Performance, Loyalty, and Promotion systems.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Receive and analyze testing requirements for IT products and services.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners to clarify requirements, business flows, testing scope, and acceptance criteria.
- Develop test strategies, test plans, and detailed test cases for both manual and automation testing.
- Execute manual tests across multiple platforms (Web, Desktop, and Mobile – Android/iOS).
- Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts to improve test coverage and testing efficiency.
- Perform regression, integration, UAT, and cross\-module testing.
- Record and track test results, report defects, and provide recommendations to improve product quality.
- Conduct post\-go\-live defect analysis and support troubleshooting.
- Create and maintain test documentation and ensure end\-to\-end traceability.
- Participate in projects following Agile/Scrum methodologies.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in software testing, with proven experience in both manual and automation testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and test design techniques.
- Hands\-on experience with automation testing tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or similar).
- Experience testing across multiple platforms and multiple modules/business functions.
- Background working in FMCG or Retail companies, familiar with business flows such as distribution, warehouse, loyalty, and promotion programs.
- Experience working with web, desktop, and mobile applications (Android \& iOS).
- Ability to read and understand technical logic/code, and effectively communicate with developers.
- Familiarity with databases and SQL queries.
- Good documentation, analytical thinking, problem\-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
**Preferred**
- Curiosity and ability to explore and apply AI tools to improve testing efficiency and productivity.
- Possession of relevant testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of system deployment and user support during rollout.
