I. What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and enhance Python-based services, internal tools, and data pipelines to support platform scalability and evolving business requirements.
- Troubleshoot production issues by analyzing application logs, tracing data flows, debugging Python services, and investigating SQL databases and Linux environments.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for system incidents and implement sustainable solutions to improve system stability and reliability.
- Build automation tools and operational scripts to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and prevent recurring issues.
- Optimize system performance, operational efficiency, and platform reliability through continuous engineering improvements.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers, researchers, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
II. What You’ll Bring
- 2.5+ years of professional experience developing Python applications in production environments.
- Strong proficiency in Python and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Experience building backend services using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and service-oriented architecture.
- Experience working with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Comfortable working in Linux environments with shell commands for troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Git and modern CI/CD workflows.
- Understanding of asynchronous programming and concurrency concepts.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Good English communication skills for collaborating with global teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, etc.).
