Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Senior to join our finance team at Hitachi Digital Services Vietnam Co. Ltd. This role will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records and supporting various accounting functions.
Job Responsibilities
* Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and company policies.
* Manage general ledger accounts, including journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis.
* Understanding accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
* Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and monitor financial performance against them.
* Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
* Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and assist with tax filings.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
* Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting-related queries and provide financial insights.
* Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff, if applicable.
* Perform other ad-hoc accounting duties as assigned by management.
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a multinational company.
* Strong understanding of Vietnamese accounting standards (VAS) and IFRS.
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
* Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
* Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required at least TOEIC: 850, IELTS 7.0
