JOB DESCRIPTION
- IT Operations & Support
- Provide technical support to end-users regarding hardware, software, operating systems, and access permissions.
- Receive, process, and track IT tickets to ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with internal teams or third-party vendors to resolve complex incidents.
- Support the deployment, modification, and upgrading of IT hardware, software, and services.
- Infrastructure & Systems
- Operate and maintain on-premises infrastructure, including physical servers, virtual machines (VMs), and NAT configurations.
- Administer and support LAN/WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, and networking devices.
- Assist in operating Firewalls and other IT security solutions.
- Perform system patching, backup/restore operations, system monitoring, and incident resolution.
- Support the deployment and operation of new IT solutions and projects.
- IT Asset & Documentation Management
- Manage the entire IT asset lifecycle, including procurement, allocation, maintenance, retrieval, and disposal.
- Manage data for hardware assets, equipment, software, and software licenses
- Maintain system documentation, configurations, network diagrams, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and troubleshooting guides.
- Ensure asset and access control strictly adhere to company policies; perform periodic asset inventories and reconciliations
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 6+ months of hands-on experience in IT Helpdesk / End-user Support.
- Practical experience in installing and configuring Windows and Ubuntu Desktop OS.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic LAN issues (Ethernet cable crimping, network connectivity testing).
- Ability to troubleshoot basic computer issues (Windows errors, MS Office bugs).
- Experience in PC assembly and hardware maintenance (CPU, motherboard, RAM, HDD/SSD, PSU, GPU).
- Basic knowledge of IT asset tracking using MS Excel or management software.
- Basic familiarity with VMware or Hyper-V (creating virtual machines, taking snapshots, etc.) is a plus.
