**About the Job**
FinX is a digital financial services company, aiming to provide seamless and secure experiences to millions of users through modern banking solutions.
As a Junior Business Analyst, you will work closely with senior analysts and business units to support data\-related banking projects. You will be involved in gathering and clarifying requirements, translating business needs into basic technical specifications, validating and exploring data using SQL, and maintaining data documentation. This role offers an opportunity to develop your Business Analysis skills while building hands\-on exposure to data and banking processes.
**Responsibilities**
- Assist senior analysts in working with business units to collect and clarify requirements for data projects.
- Support senior analysts in translating business needs into basic technical specifications.
- Run basic SQL queries to validate and explore data under guidance.
- Help update Data Catalog and maintain metadata accuracy.
- Learn and apply a basic understanding of banking products and processes (loans, deposits, payments).
**Qualification and Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields.
- 1–2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or related role.
- Have basic SQL knowledge (can write simple SELECT queries).
- Understanding of data concepts (tables, data quality,…).
- Soft skills: Communication skills and Problem\-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Office (Work, Excel,…)
**Nice to have**
- Experience working with data\-related projects is a plus.
- Experience in banking, fintech, or financial services is a plus.
- Familiarity with Data Catalog or metadata management is a plus.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is a plus.
