RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor daily network operations, including LAN/WAN connectivity, internet lines, VPN, firewall, switches, routers, and wireless access points.
- Perform first-level troubleshooting for basic network incidents such as connection failure, slow network, IP conflict, DNS/DHCP issues, and user access problems.
- Support network device configuration under guidance, including VLAN, port configuration, access control, routing basics, and firewall rule verification.
- Use monitoring tools to check network availability, performance, alerts, logs, and escalate abnormal issues to senior engineers or related teams.
- Coordinate with infrastructure, security, application, and vendor teams to support incident handling and service restoration.
- Maintain network inventory, configuration records, incident logs, operation reports, and standard operating procedures.
- Support routine operation tasks such as health checks, backup of network device configurations, access review, and basic preventive maintenance.
- Follow operation procedures, security policies, and escalation processes to ensure stable network service delivery.
- Perform other related tasks as required by management.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in computer science, information technology, network engineering, telecommunications, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLAN, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPN, and firewall.
- 1–2 years of experience in network operation, IT infrastructure support, helpdesk, or technical support role.
- Able to perform basic troubleshooting for network connectivity, IP addressing, wireless connection, VPN access, and user network issues.
- Familiar with common network devices and technologies such as switches, routers, firewalls, access points, and network monitoring tools.
- Basic understanding of Windows/Linux network commands and troubleshooting tools such as ping, traceroute, nslookup, telnet, SSH, and remote access tools.
- Good communication, teamwork, documentation, and problem-solving skills; willing to learn and follow operation procedures.
[Prefered]
- CCNA or equivalent networking certification is a plus.
- Experience with network monitoring tools such as Zabbix, PRTG, SolarWinds, Grafana, or similar tools is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of network security, firewall policy, VPN, proxy, and access control is preferred.
- Experience supporting enterprise network operation or 24/7 managed service environment is a plus.
- Basic scripting or automation knowledge using PowerShell, Bash, or Python is an advantage.
- English communication and documentation skill is preferred; Korean language ability is a plus.
