RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead a small-medium team (5–10 members) for cloud-based Python development and data pipeline operations.
- Assign tasks, manage priorities, track progress, and ensure delivery quality & timeline.
- Act as the main technical point of contact with PM, stakeholders, and customer.
Technical Development & Delivery
- Design, develop, and maintain Python applications, data pipelines, and cloud-based solutions.
- maintain Backend part of recommendation platform, algothrim dashboards, monitoring pipelines, and CR implementations.
- Work with SQL (BigQuery) for data processing and analytics.
- Main responsible for project quality
Cloud Operation & Quality
- Oversee system monitoring, CI/CD, backup/recovery, and incident handling.
- Ensure coding standards, review quality, and continuous improvement.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with cross teams to align business & technical requirements.
- Report status, risks, and issues proactively to stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS
Technical Skills
- 5+ years experience with Cloud (GCP/AWS) and Python (Pandas/Spark is a plus).
- Strong SQL (preferably BigQuery).
- Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines (Airflow or similar).
- Strong experience with CI/CD, monitoring tools (Jenkins, Sonar, Looker Studio, etc.).
- 2+ years experience as team lead or tech lead role in other project
- Experience in dashboard/KPI maintenance and data analysis.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skills.
- Able to work in Agile and direct communicate in English with stakeholders.
PLUS
- GCP/AWS certifications.
- Good at English/Japanese communication.
- Experience with recommendation systems or large-scale data platforms.
- Knowledge of cloud services (Cloud Composer, Cloud Run, etc.) and optimization/cost/security best practices.
