RESPONSIBILITIES
Requirements:
- Salesforce Platform / Apex Developer with at least 3 to 5+ years of dedicated experience with Marketing Cloud and experience with Data Cloud (including relevant certification)
- Customization and development of Salesforce solutions: developing tailored solutions to meet business requirements
- Programming: writing and optimizing code
- Data integration from various source systems (CRM, APIs, data warehouse)
- Experience with data modeling
- Deployment experience via Git feature branching (GitFlow or trunk-based), SFDX, automated CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
- Experience with middleware and integration patterns: REST, SOAP, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and event-based architectures
- Troubleshooting and system maintenance: diagnosing and solving technical issues, regular system performance review and optimization, error handling, API limits, retry mechanisms
- Experience handling high transaction volumes and complex data models & technical debt
- Ability to cleanly further develop customizations instead of implementing workarounds
- Understanding of integration patterns for energy processes
- Debugging in highly integrated environments
- Experience working with VS Code, SFDX, Git, GitHub/GitLab/Azure, monitoring/logging tools, ticketing systems (JIRA), CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.)
- Best-practice implementation and documentation: implementing Salesforce best practices, creating and maintaining documentation for developed code and processes
