Job Summary
As a Portfolio Risk Supervisor (Credit line) at Cake, you will be responsible for assessing, overseeing and managing the credit risk performance across our credit products. You will monitor key risk metrics and indicators, provide actionable insights, and support the development of risk appetite that drives sustainable portfolio growth while maintaining appropriate risk standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor credit portfolio performance across various products (e.g., unsecured lending, BNPL, credit card, etc.).
- Analyze delinquency trends, vintage curves, NPL, recovery rates, and other portfolio metrics to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare reports on portfolio performance, risk exposure, and other relevant metrics for senior management and other stakeholders.
- Support the design, implementation of credit risk policies and underwriting strategies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Data, Product, Collection, Business, Compliance) to ensure holistic risk management and policy alignment.
- Prepare and present regular risk performance reports to senior stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations and policies related to credit risk.
- Lead or support risk-related projects such as scorecard monitoring, segmentation analysis, or risk model validation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Banking, Economics, Statistics, or related fields.
- At least 3 years of experience in credit risk management, portfolio analysis, or related roles in financial services.
- Experience working in digital banking, consumer finance, or fintech is an advantage.
- Credit cards/BNPL or credit line experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in SQL, Excel and data tools (Python is an advantage).
- Solid understanding of credit lifecycle, risk metrics, and risk mitigation practices.
- Good communication and reporting skills, able to explain complex topics clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
