Cake is seeking an experienced Senior Digital Marketing Executive to plan, execute, and optimize digital marketing activities across the full customer funnel as Cake scales toward its growth and revenue objectives. Reporting to the Growth Marketing Manager, this role sits within the Marketing & Growth Department.
You will take ownership of campaign execution and performance across paid channels, app campaigns, conversion optimization, SEO/SEM, retention, tracking, and performance analytics. Applying data-driven analysis and rapid experimentation to deliver measurable business impact, while providing guidance to junior team members and collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Demand Generation and Paid Channel Management
- Plan and execute demand generation campaigns independently across paid ads, app campaigns, remarketing, affiliates, SEO/SEM, and other digital channels, managing vendor relationships and monitoring paid spend with a focus on efficiency and performance.
- Proactively identify opportunities to optimize paid channel performance, rebalancing budgets and adjusting targeting based on real-time data and platform algorithm changes.
- Explore and evaluate new digital channels and partnership opportunities to expand Cake’s reach and acquisition efficiency.
Tracking, Measurement and Data
- Implement and validate campaign tracking using Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Mobile Measurement Partners such as Adjust or AppsFlyer.
- Set up tracking links, deep links, campaign parameters, conversions, and in-app events for web and app campaigns.
- Use SQL and reporting tools to analyze marketing data, validate performance, and identify data discrepancies across platforms.
Conversion Optimization and Retention
- Lead A/B testing initiatives across campaigns, landing pages, and customer touchpoints to systematically optimize conversion rates and reduce friction in the customer journey.
- Analyze pricing, offer structures, and audience segments to identify and implement improvements that maximize spend efficiency and conversion outcomes.
- Develop and execute retention initiatives to improve customer engagement, reduce churn, and increase lifetime value across Cake’s digital platforms.
Performance Analytics and Reporting
- Own performance reporting across digital marketing channels, using tools including Google Analytics, Adjust, AppsFlyer, media dashboards, internal datasets, and DataMart platforms to deliver actionable insights.
- Analyze campaign data and consumer behavior to identify optimization opportunities and provide data-driven recommendations to the Digital Marketing Manager.
- Prepare and present regular performance summaries and campaign reviews with clear findings and next-step recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in digital marketing, growth marketing, or performance marketing, preferably within e-commerce, technology, fintech, digital banking, or a digital marketing agency.
- Solid hands-on experience across paid digital channels, including Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, app campaigns, remarketing, SEO/SEM, and affiliates.
- Hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager, including event tracking, conversion setup, debugging, and data validation.
- Experience working with MMP platforms such as Adjust or AppsFlyer, including attribution links, deep links, event mapping, and campaign measurement.
- Working knowledge of SQL, with the ability to query, aggregate, and analyze marketing data.
- Proven experience in A/B testing, conversion rate optimization, and data-driven campaign decision-making.
- Experience in a high-growth B2B or B2C technology company, with knowledge of financial services or digital banking, is highly preferred.
- Media knowledge and experience in vendor management, partnership building, or affiliate marketing is a plus.
- Self-driven, analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
