We are looking for a sharp, data- native Lending Portfolio Analyst to be the person who truly understands what our lending portfolio is doing - and why. You will turn raw loan, funnel, and P&L data into clear, decision-ready insight that drives pricing, product, and risk decisions across the portfolio. You work closely with Product, Risk, Credit, and Finance.
You are AI-native: you use modern data and AI tooling to automate the routine and spend your time on the analysis that actually moves decisions. We welcome strong recent graduates as well as experienced analysts — what matters most is strong analytical thinking and curiosity about the numbers.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Monitoring & Reporting
- Track portfolio health across products (OD, Cash Loan, BNPL, Merchant Loan): disbursement, balance, yield, LG2, NPL.
- Build and maintain recurring dashboards and reports (daily / weekly / monthly) that give the team a single, trusted view of the numbers.
- Prepare periodic portfolio performance reports for management, highlighting key trends, performance drivers, risks, and actionable insights
- Flag anomalies and emerging trends early, before they show up in the headline metrics.
Deep-Dive Analytics
- Run vintage / cohort analysis to measure true product performance and unit economics.
- Analyze funnel and conversion by product and segment to find drop-offs and opportunities.
- Support pricing and P&L, assessing the impact of rate, term, and eligibility changes on portfolio growth, profitability and risk.
- Assess the potential impact of new product and policy initiatives on portfolio health.
Data & Automation (AI-Native)
- Query, join, and transform data yourself in SQL / BigQuery — the portfolio's source of truth.
- Use AI and modern tooling to automate recurring queries, checks, and reporting, so your time goes to insight, not manual refreshes.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency by maintaining clear metric definitions, calculation logic, and documentation.
Stakeholder Support
- Partner with Product Managers to answer "what is the data telling us?" and turn it into prioritized action.
- Support Risk and Finance with ad-hoc analysis for reviews, forecasts, and regulatory reporting.
- Translate analysis into clear, concise recommendations that non-analysts can act on.
Requirements
- Fresh graduates to ~4 years of experience — we welcome strong recent graduates with a quantitative / analytical foundation, as well as experienced analysts. Background in data, finance, economics, statistics, or a related field.
- SQL skills, or a demonstrated ability to pick it up fast — comfortable working with data (coursework, projects, or on-the-job) and eager to query large datasets (BigQuery or equivalent) daily.
- Interest in and basic understanding of lending metrics and the loan lifecycle: disbursement, yield, delinquency (LG2 / NPL), vintage / cohort, and basic P&L (we will help you go deep).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with genuine attention to data accuracy and metric consistency.
- AI-native: you use AI tools to work faster and automate the routine, and can show how.
- Ability to turn analysis into a clear narrative and actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities.
Nice to have
- Experience with vintage / cohort or unit-economics analysis specifically.
- Familiarity with provisioning, roll-rate, or credit-risk analytics.
- Python or a BI tool (Looker, Power BI, Tableau) for automation and visualization.
- Familiarity with Vietnamese lending metrics and regulatory reporting (e.g. CIC, loan classification).
