We are looking for an experienced Lending Product Manager to own the product standards, policies, and business rules that govern our lending portfolio — and to make sure those standards actually move the business, not just sit in a document. Partnering closely with Tech, Risk, Credit, Compliance, and Operations, you will develop and govern lending products and processes that are clear, consistent, scalable, and compliant across the full loan lifecycle — from origination through servicing and closure — across both native and embedded/partner channels.
This is a hybrid role: roughly 60% policy & governance, 40% product. You are the person who keeps our credit policy audit-ready and commercially sharp as the portfolio scales.
Key Responsibilities
Policy, Standards & Governance (60%)
- Draft, own, and maintain lending product standards and policies — customer eligibility, credit criteria, product conditions, pricing, and terms — across our lending products (OD, Cash Loan, BNPL, Merchant Loan).
- Design and document end-to-end (E2E) lending processes and detailed operational procedures, translating product policy into clear, step-by-step guidelines for execution.
- Define and maintain lending business rules and operational guidelines for cross-functional teams, and ensure consistency between policy, process design, business rules, and actual implementation across the lifecycle.
- Perform internal control reviews and monitor regulatory and policy compliance across all lending products and channels.
- Conduct periodic reviews of policies, processes, and product standards to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Product Development & Commercial (40%)
- Translate product policy and requirements into Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) for Tech and delivery teams.
- Partner with Tech, Risk, Credit, Compliance, and Operations to build, test, and launch new lending products and features — including partner/embedded channels.
- Manage the product development lifecycle: requirement clarification, solution design, UAT, and go-live coordination.
- Support go-to-market rollout and post-launch monitoring for smooth, compliant implementation.
- Develop and refine pricing strategies and underwriting criteria to maximize profitability while keeping rates competitive and lending affordable.
- Monitor and analyze P&L, conversion/funnel, and delinquency (LG2/NPL) by product line and channel; recommend improvements to pricing, features, and conditions based on live portfolio data.
- Assess the impact of new policy or product initiatives on existing and future portfolio health before they ship.
Requirements
- 5+ years in lending product management, credit policy, or related roles in banking, fintech, or financial services.
- Strong grasp of lending products and the E2E loan lifecycle, plus credit policy, business rules, product standards, and loan operations.
- Working knowledge of Vietnamese lending regulation.
- Proven ability to author product standards, process documentation, and operational guidelines that are clear, structured, and audit-ready.
- Hands-on experience with internal control and regulatory compliance in a lending environment.
- Strong, data-native analytical skills — able to read portfolio and vintage/cohort data, interpret P&L and funnel metrics, and turn them into actionable reporting and recommendations. Comfort with SQL / BigQuery is a strong plus.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, AI-native product environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills, with strong attention to detail.
