As a Senior Risk Analyst, you will play a key role in policy monitoring, reconciliation frameworks, and risk policy development for new products and business initiatives. Working closely with Product, Data Engineering, Technology… you will deliver data-driven and scalable risk solutions.
What you will do:
Risk Policy Monitoring & Reporting
- Develop, maintain, and continuously enhance monitoring reports for risk policies, strategic partners, underwriting reports.
- Deep dive into new datasets, data models, and business logic to ensure monitoring reports accurately reflect policy performance.
- Adapt and optimize reporting when data architecture or management logic changes (e.g., migration from BigQuery to DBT or other data platforms).
- Analyze policy performance, identify trends or anomalies, and recommend improvements to enhance policy effectiveness.
- Promote automation and AI-driven solutions to improve monitoring, reconciliation, reporting, and policy analysis
Reconciliation & Control Framework
- Design and develop reconciliation tables, dashboards, and automated tools to validate data consistency across internal systems and external partners.
- Investigate reconciliation exceptions, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to resolve data discrepancies.
- Drive automation initiatives to improve reconciliation efficiency, reduce manual effort, and strengthen operational controls..
Risk Policy Strategy & Rule Development
- Design and propose new risk policy frameworks, decision rules, and eligibility criteria for new products, customer segments, and business initiatives.
- Monitor post-implementation performance of new policies and continuously optimize decision logic based on data insights.
- Review and improve end-to-end risk workflows to enhance operational efficiency and governance.
- Support UAT, do QC, policy validation, and implementation to ensure new rules are accurately deployed into production..
Requirements:
Technical Skills:
- Strong SQL skills with experience working on large datasets (BigQuery is preferred)
- Familiarity with modern data transformation tools such as DBT or similar data modeling frameworks.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skill data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting
- Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) to improve productivity, documentation, SQL development, or data analysis is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience in developing monitoring reports, reconciliation frameworks, and data quality controls.
- Proficient in using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub ,Claude) to improve productivity
