**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develop, maintain, and support Linux BSP software for SoC platforms.
- Perform kernel rebase, kernel version upgrades, and BSP integration activities.
- Maintain and support Yocto Project builds and embedded Linux environments.
- Verify and validate Linux kernel functionality, device drivers, and peripheral features.
- Analyze and debug software issues on ARM\-based embedded platforms.
- Support bootloader, kernel, device tree, and middleware integration.
- Collaborate with teams to support software release and maintenance activities.
**REQUIREMENTS**
**MUST HAVE:**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in C/C\+\+ programming, including pointers, memory management, and basic data structures.
- Hands\-on exposure to embedded Linux systems and ARM\-based processors.
- Hands\-on exposure to U\-Boot, Linux kernel configuration, device tree, and device drivers.
- Comfort working in Linux command\-line environments.
- Ability to read and understand hardware manuals, datasheets, and technical specifications.
- Practical exposure to debugging in Linux environments, such as using GDB for stepping through code or analyzing basic faults.
- Curiosity\-driven problem\-solving and a strong willingness to learn.
- Clear written and verbal communication for documenting findings and working with teammates.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Proactive attitude \- comfortable asking questions, flagging blockers early, and taking ownership of assigned tasks.
**NICE TO HAVE:**
- Knowledge of Yocto Project or Buildroot build systems.
- Scripting experience in Bash or Python for automation or tooling tasks.
