ABOUT THE JOB
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium for web applications
- Execute manual and automated testing to ensure software quality across different stages of the development lifecycle.
- Develop and execute end-to-end (E2E), functional, regression, and API test cases.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain and improve the automation testing framework to increase test coverage and execution efficiency.
- Participate in test planning, test case design, and test execution for new features and enhancements.
- Analyze test results and provide clear reports on product quality and release readiness.
- Support CI/CD testing activities and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiative.
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 1–2 years of experience in Software Testing or QA Automation.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript/JavaScript for test automation.
- Good understanding of automation testing concepts, including test script design, test structure, and reusable test components.
- Knowledge of End-to-End (E2E) testing, API testing, and regression testing.
- Experience with other automation tools or programming languages (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Python, JavaScript, C#) is a plus.
- Familiarity with automation design patterns such as Page Object Model (POM) is preferred.
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Good English communication skills.
- Flexible, highly responsible, proactive, and eager to learn new technologies.
