ABOUT THE JOB
- Review and analyze business and functional requirements to identify clear, comprehensive test scenarios and acceptance criteria
- Prepare detailed test plans, test strategy, and test case design covering Functional, Integration, System Integration (SIT), Regression, UAT, Sprint, and Rollout testing
- Execute manual testing across multiple phases (Functional, Integration, SIT, Regression, UAT, Sprint, Rollout) to ensure product quality and alignment with requirements
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through their full lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution and re‑validation of fixes
- Perform root cause analysis for defects and support issue verification after fixes are deployed
- Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements, align on test scope, and support delivery
- Prepare daily, weekly, and milestone test execution reports, providing clear visibility on test progress, quality status, and risks
- Maintain structured test documentation (test cases, test data, traceability matrix) and ensure full traceability between requirements, test scenarios, and defects
- Support production validation and post‑deployment verification when required, ensuring smooth releases and stable environments
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, quality standards, and best practices within the team and project
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, refinement, daily stand‑ups, reviews, retrospectives) and support continuous delivery goals
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- 3–5 years of experience as a Manual Tester / QA Engineer working on web or enterprise applications
- Strong experience in designing test plans, test strategies, and detailed test cases based on business and functional requirements
- Hands‑on experience executing Functional, Integration, System Integration (SIT), Regression, UAT, and Rollout testing in Agile/Scrum environments
- Solid understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and SDLC/STLC (test design techniques, defect lifecycle, risk‑based testing, regression strategy, etc.)
- Experience using test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar)
- Ability to perform root cause analysis, clearly describe defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues
- Strong documentation skills with experience maintaining test cases, test data, and traceability between requirements and tests
- Good analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail and a strong focus on quality
- Ownership mindset, proactive attitude, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile team
- Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken), able to discuss requirements, defects, and test results with international stakeholders
